Hello all,

I would like to make a little demo of the 3D capabilities of REALbasic
to my boss and I wonder if anybody has sth. that I could use...

The examples RS ships with the program are a bit, well, too simple to
convince him to allow me spending the next half year programming in RB :-)

Any help would be appreciated..

These were done using RB3D (i.e. no OpenGL):

This game is currently available only in Classic, and it doesn't behave well
on my OS X machine -- you get duelling updates of the two 3D views. I don't
know if this is specific to my video cards or what, but just be
prepared...if you can boot into Classic it should work pretty well. (I can
send you an OS X version if you like, but the frame rate is artificially
low. The main loop needs revising, which is why I haven't posted an update.)

This won't show any animation, but it does let you exercise the RB3D API. I
use it mostly to create artwork for 3D icons, to check out models in
progress, and to investigate various effects.

These are both pre-release, and I haven't updated either in a while, but
they should give you an idea of what RB3D can do.

Well, those are meant to demonstrate single techniques, not real apps.

Off the top of my head, you might try searching the archives (or
Google) for "Whiplash", "Armageddon", and "Renegades" (though the
latter is not yet finished). And note that while Armageddon appears
2D, it's using the 3D engine for performance.
