Is there any way to have a program launch every day at a preset time on
Windows without doing anything complicated with the system? (I'm a Mac
user and I know VERY little about the windows OS).

OR, is there a really passive way to have an application sit open while
checking the time...waiting to launch an application or run a method
one a day without interfering at all with normal operations?

Thoughts?

Outside of RB, you could use Window's Scheduled Tasks feature to launch a program at a predetermined time and day (or every day).

In RB, you could write a headless app where the main window's visible property is false, put a timer control on the window, then have it test for date and time and launch the desired program if true.
