a little mousecursor trouble
Date: 03.02.05 17:42 (Thu, 3 Feb 2005 11:42:42 -0500)
From: Jeff Borckardt
I have a resedit file containing a cursor (it looks like a plus sign)
in my project. When the mouse is moved over a canvas (mouse enter) I
have it changed to this custom cursor. I have it go back to the arrow
cursor on mouse exit. This works great.
However, when I am using the mousedown and mousedrag subs to capture
coordinates that are used to make a dynamically size-able rectangle
(drawn in the paint event of the canvas... i.e., I refresh the canvas
from the mousedrag sub), the arrow cursor appears during the drag. I'd
like it to stay with the custom cursor during the drag. How do I do
this?

Jeff

Have you tried the mousedown or mousedrag events? I don't know if that will
work but you could try changing the cursor in the mousedrag event...

I put "mousecursorÀossHairCursor" in the Paint, Mousedown, and
Mousedrag events (not to mention Mouse enter), but during the drag I
still get arrowcursor.

Thoughts?
