If MacManager or MacJanet are applications, you could write a utility
which offered the choice quite easily in RB, then put that in Startup
Items so that it is run on every bootup.

Macs have no important file extension rules, they know which files
are programs, which are data etc, but they also have no concept of
PATH, so you can't say 'open MacManager' and assume it will find it,
however you could search for them first reasonably easily.

So, if you know where they are:

Create a model dialog window.
Add 2 buttons
In each buttons action event launch the folderitem of the desired application.

If you don't:

Create a model dialog window.
Add 2 buttons
In each buttons action event search for then launch the folderitem of
the desired application.

Searching is not easy so I suggest the CatSearch plugin.
