Hi,
How does one call a DLL from a Windows RB app?

The docs speak of XCMD's and other Mac code libraries but not DLL's (at
least that I can find)

Thanks,
Art

With the Declare statement. See the December 2001 issue of MacTech
for a detailed discussion.

Cheers,

It looks like I'm going to have to order that issue and have it shipped
internationally. Before I do, can you confirm this is the "200th Issue"? Is
this material available anyplace online instead?

Thanks

That's right, but I've heard they're sold out of this issue. I
recommend you try interlibrary loan instead.

Cheers,
- Joe

If you are able to get it, please let me know. I checked a month or so ago
and it was sold out !

Thanks,
John

I'm going to try the library loan first if it works internationally.

As calling a DLL is listed as a feature of RB, I wonder why there isn't some
minimal documentation included with the PDF's. Seems really strange to be
listed as on the RealBasic web site (on the RB Details page).

If I get the mag I'll let you know.

Thanks,
Art

There is. See the Language Reference under "Declare".
