Sorry about being offtopic

I have been using the keyboard control panel in MacOS 9 to automate
launching applications (using FKEYS) (under Hot Function Key Assignments)

It works fine when I am in MacOS 9 but the keyboard control panel in
MacOS X does not have this feature, does any one know of a
osx-application that does this?

I've been using a freeware application called "YoupiKey". I'm not
booted into OS X at the moment or I'd look at the README for a URL
for you. I imagine you could find it easily on Google or the search
engine of your choice, or via VersionTracker.

I can wait, next time you boot into OSX could you please tell me the url?
I'd appreciate that.

Quick Google search found this page:

http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/7510

It's called "Youpi Key" instead of "YoupiKey".

Try LaunchBar. While it uses a different way of launching apps, it's really
easy to use and very useful.
