There was some talk here not long ago about the possibilities of starting
an open-source resource editor project. Did such a thing ever get started?

I know there's MacResourceDog, which includes the source code, but I
haven't been able to download anything successfully from the author's
server, and besides I haven't heard of anyone else working on it.

Any news from those "in the know"?

I have it. Let me know if you want it. It's not bad; the code is quite
messy, but it has a lot of potential.

And I'd venture to guess that Apple uses Resorcerer when they need to edit
resources.

I have plans to write a plist editor for MRD. I have the code. I'll email it
to you if you'd like.
