clearfocus not working

I have a simple modal dialog window with 3 editfields, 3 radio buttons,
2 pushbuttons.

Two lines of code:

clearfocus
showmodal

When the window is displayed the focus is in one of the editfields.
This seems to be not the way it should work.

Am I incorrect?

Thanks,
Jeff

Well, you can't 'clearfocus' until the window is displayed (assuming you
really do have it in that order). Also, using clearfocus in a window's Open
Event may not do what you want: you'll probably need to use it in the
Activate event instead.

Where are those two lines of code? I wouldn't expect that the focus of the
window you're showing _after_ you clear the focus to have its focus cleared.
Have you tried putting the ClearFocus in the Open event handler of the
window? Not sure it will work, but it's worth a try. You'll have to
somehow clear the focus _after_ the focus has been set.

I would second the question: where is this code?

I believe that the code should go in the Window Activate event. I believe
that Window Open is "too early" for this code.

I moved the code to the activate event and it now works.

thanks

Put the clearfocus in the activate event.

I had the same problem.
