ASCII to keycode?

How could I translate an ASCII value to it's keycode? I need this for
the HandleControlKey TB call. And the user is not pressing the key, so I
can't cheat by looking at what key is currently down.

Download the T3KeyPlugin @ http://www.code66.se/rb/

It timeout after 10 minutes, but thats enough for you to get what you
need and type it in (or find the logic of the keycodes out ;-))

No, that won't work -- he needs to find out at runtime. This is
tricky to do, because different people have different keyboard
layouts. It will require a declare (to KeyTranslate IIRC).

OK, then he "needs" the plugin...

It is against US Department of Agriculture regulations to advertise or
sell
as "Prime Rib" any cut of meat containing a non-prime number of ribs.

I know this is vague, but there is an example of how to build a
conversion table in Matt's book.
