How do you get a Socket to connect? I tried these lines of code in the
Open event of my main window:
Socket1.Address="192.168.1.8"
Socket1.Connect
And I get a -3150 error (Bad Address). I double-checked the IP of the
computer that I'm connecting to - I could mount a volume from it but I
can't get REALbasic to see it on the network.

Specify which port you want to connect to (via the Port property).

You should specify which port you want to connect over. You can set it in
the IDE or in code using the socket's port property.

For example HTTP uses port 80, and SMTP uses port 25 (usually).

You need to specify a port too.
Socket1.Port = XXXX
