do you think it's possible to achieve this via an Delphi DLL to work around
this limitation? But i have no idea to pass an OLEObject Outlook contact item
to Delphi...

Sometimes REALBasic is really frustrating, you are adding interesting
features, but basic functionality is missing then. Sigh... Mabye it would be best
to do all in Delphi.
