Windows IDE installer locks up

Has anyone had any problems installing the RB 5.5 Windows IDE? I'm
trying to install on XP and the installer freezes about 75% into the
install. I let it set for an hour. I had to end task then reboot. I
tried installing again with the same result.

Has anyone successfully installed 5.5 on XP?

I was hoping to upgrade my Windows license today. Guess that won't
happen ; )

Yes. No problems. Maybe your installed .exe is corrupted.

I eventually got it to work. I changed the install path to a different
directory and it worked.
The default path should have been ok. I'm not sure why it didin't work.
