RB 2K5: What is a syntax error in a plugin?

Just tried RB 2K5 again.

The test app uses 'GZIP plugin.rbx' but fails to compile with this
error message:

An error has occured while compiling the project.

Message: Syntax error.

File: GZIP plugin.rbx
Component: GZip
Item: Debug

Hm, what does that mean? Syntax error in a module?

Hi Stefan,

Don't know if this is it, but I found that (with 2005 r1) I was getting
strange errors if I had any RB project files in the RB plugins folder. It
seemed like it was trying to parse the .rb project files as plugins too.
Make sure you only have plugins in the plugins folder :-)

Dave.

Well, the rbx file is a plugin. No source objects are in the plugin
folder.
