Woohoo, I've got my crypt function working!

I took up Mark's offer to have a look at my code to see if he could spot
anything amiss. Unfortunately, after being driven near madness from
reading this very twisted and surreal encryption code he couldn't spot any
problems.

However, Mark is now my new best friend. Why? Because he suggested that I
compile up the C code I used as inspiration early on and log some output
and compare with similar logging from my RB code.

Guess what, the very first comparison I made showed that I was splitting
up the password into a bit array incorrectly, I had used an 8 bit mask
instead of 7 bit. So I fixed that ready to step through to the next area
of difference, but the bloody thing only went and spat out the correct
result! :-)

Anyway, once cleaned up I'll be making the module available to the
community via my website, I'll send an announcement when it's ready.

Thanks to everyone who tried to help me out, very much appreciated.

Special thanks to Mark Nutter for spending time looking at my code and
suggesting something that eventually helped me debug.

Cheers,
