Hi,

some time ago, someone asked for an icon design service.
I pointed to Joram Blumenberg. He has a new icon site only,
although it seems to be under construction:

http://www.iconpx.com/

As written earlier, Joram did a great work for me.

Kinds,

Stefan

[I'm neither Joram nor do I earn anything by this posting or
by forwarded clients.]

Thanks for this new information, Stefan.

I asked for that icon design service a while ago, and although I did not
choose Yoram Blumenberg this time, I did get very nice and timely replies to
my emails from him, and his offer was also okay. I agree he creates great
graphics, and will happily recommend him (but have yet to work with him
myself).

In a discussion at the Association of Shareware Professionals, there was
someone also looking for a good Apple icon designer. There were replies from
Windows-only designers who are good in their own field of work, but just
don't get the right feel for Mac OS X graphics. It is still hard to find a
good designer that asks reasonable prices (and not the US$1,500 and higher
per icon I was offered at some of them), and the right feel for
cross-platform quality work...
