Using a Com object in real?

Can someone give me some info on how to use a com object in realbasic? I need to use a dll file, In vb I would use a project reference to do this - is there some way in 2005's ide to do it? Or do I just use declares? Also, some of the functions of this dll return a custom datatype, which consists of a new object with a bunch of variables - can this be used directly from the call, or does something else need to be done to it?

thanks,
Cameron

Try adding an ActiveX Component from the Project->Add menu. If the item
does not appear on the list, then you will have to control it manually using
the OLEObject.

Dim obj as New OLEObject("mycomponent.programid")
Obj.InvokeSomeMethod
