Contextual Menu in ToolBar?

Hi Folks.

Since TabPanels are so 15 minutes ago, I'm implementing my multipanel
interfaces with PagePanels and ToolBars. I've gotten the toolbar/
pagepanel combo working fantastically, but I'd like to add a
Contextual Menu to the ToolBar - but NOT as a button. The idea is to
mimic the operation for most windows where you right click/control
click on the toolbar background and then choose things like Large
Icons, Small Icons, Text, No Text...

So far, I've not found a stable method for attaching such a CMM.

Anyone who's had success with this willing to share the secret sauce?

Thanks,

Tim

G'Day!

No can do. Unfortunately there is a bug on the Mac (not on Windows though)
were the Create contextual menu event does not fire.

If you do not need cross-platform, you can use my HIToolbar classes:
<http://www.thezaz.com/opensource/realbasic/macosx/toolbar/>

You won't even need to implement the contextual menu, since that's a
standard toolbar feature which RB mutes.

I have been using MaxiToolbar for a couple of years - its great and does all
those things (and more) tri platform, although I have not built a Linux dist
personally.

MaxiToolbar seem very complete, but David's work doesn't seem to
provide any type of Linux support which is very important to us.

Very cool implementation, but I do need cross platform for at least
OS X UB and Linux.
