On an adjacent thread, I'm reading about cause for concern about RB
built apps leaking memory on Leopard. I opened my product built with
2007r5 on Leopard and have watched it idle for quite some time with no
activity monitor increase in RAM or VM. The app is not gaining a
megabyte every two minutes or so.

So, what is causing a memory leak in a blank RB app with only an OK
button, that my major project built app doesn't?

Yours truly

Whatever the reason, RS has verified the leaks:

Hi,
I tested on Daktari, when the first window is opened, it use about
12.80MB.. after 10-15 seconds it use just 1MB more... so it really
leaks...

( OS X 10.5.1 Intel )
