SMTP Socket Errors

So I've created a subclass of the SMTP Socket and then adding a bunch
of emails (over 20) to be sent. I'm finding that if 4 or 5 of them
have an error for some reason, the whole shebang gets aborted. Is
there a built-in way to figure out which ones have already been sent,
so I can send the rest again?

No. This is a shortcoming of SMTPSocket. My workaround was to create
a separate message for each recipient.

Did you try using the messageSent event? That looks like it should work.
