Setting databasefile at runtime
Date: 05.08.09 02:59 (Tue, 4 Aug 2009 21:59:58 -0400)
From: Roger Clary
I want to allow my users to be able to change the location of the
REALDB file the app uses.
When the user creates a folderitem named remoteDB via the SelectFolder
method, I do

MSData.DatabaseFile = remoteDB
if MSData.Connect = false then
DisplayDatabaseError()
end if

however, at the next read of the DB, the old location is read...and
continues to be read until the next app launch.

I have inspected the .databasefile property in the debugger and it is
shown correctly after the above call.
Can't figure out why my app continues to use the former setting.

Is there something else I need to set to get the DB to read from the
new location?

Thanks

Roger Clary
