[OT] Robocopy exits with Error 87
Date: 01.08.12 14:46 (Wed, 01 Aug 2012 15:46:36 +0200)
From: Jean-Luc Arnaud

In a RB app with Shell command, i'm using Robocopy in order to copy
datas from HD to volumes mounted as mounted points.
Until some days, all was working very well.
But now, Robocopy (XP027, integrated in Windows 7) exits with Error 87
(Access error to the destination folder).

I tried manually in a Command window: same result.
I tried accessing directly the target, without mounting it as a mounted
point: it works.
I changed Source folder, I changed the volume owning the mounted points
folder, I checked my privileges: nothing resolves this issue.

Could it be related to an update from Microsoft? (Windows 7 Pack 1).
Is this a known issue?
Is there a solution, a workaround?

Any idea or suggestion welcome, given that I MUST use mounted points.

TIA

Jean-Luc

I just discovered that with Robocopy XP026, all works fine!

Any idea on what happened to Robocopy XP027? Of course, all my tests
were run in Admin mode.

TIA

Jean-Luc
