Christian,

How would I use your Rendezvous support to get a list of all servers
available on a specific service (eg ftp, http etc).

I have tried using the lookup and browse sections of your example, I just
can't seem to set the service type right.

Thanks for any help in advance.

I think safari searches for "_http._tcp", so you may try something like
this.

Nope.. It doesn't work. I created a dummy service on "_http._tcp." and
Safari didn't pick up on it. I also tried "_ftp._tcp." and used Transmit
but it didn't see any Rendezvous FTP services.

Anyone have a working example?

Works here. Just take the normal rendezvous example.
Servicename: ""
Servicetype: "_http._tcp."
Domain: ""
Port: 80

And this works with Safari.

Ah, your right. I don't quite understand why NOT having a domain makes it
work.

It even works on Transmit doing "_ftp._tcp."...
