[MBS] CocoaMenuItemMBS events not firing?

Is there any reason why these events seem to randomly not fire?
Sometimes certain menus fire and then they don't. Wait 30 seconds and
they fire again. Am I missing something?

They fire at random times if you try them in the RB IDE as RB eats some
events...

Even in 5.1 where the App does not run in RB's memory space?
