[MBS] QTGrabberMBS select between two identically-named video devices?

I'm trying to grab content from two video devices. Unfortunately,
both of them are named "AVCD-110". It appears as if I can't select
one or the other, probably because they have the same name. This
seems to be a bug that is also in Quartz Composer and QuickTime
player, btw.

I'm wondering if there is a way to tell the QTGrabber to select a
particular video device by index #, GUID, handle or some other
identifier other than the name?

My system profiler does show that the two devices have different GUIDs.

Can the video settings dialog be used to select them?
And save the setup?

Maybe you can't select them by code, but maybe the GUI has some index
value in use.
