Hello, when I run the following code I always get back a return value of 0.
No matter is the host is up or down. Is this a know issue.

dim p as DarwinPingMBS
dim d as date

p=new DarwinPingMBS

d=new date
ListBox1.AddRow "Start: "+d.LongTime

ListBox1.AddRow "Ping result: "+str(p.Ping("system.ahost.com",5000,255))

d=new date
ListBox1.AddRow "Start: "+d.LongTime

Oh yea, running RB2008r1 on MacPro 10.5.2 with MBS8.2

Thanks,
- Charles

Ping result here is 126.
So at least here it works.

A zero here may result in an error.

Can you try a second machine?

I was unable to get it to work on another system, however the SimplePing works fine.

Vielen Dank

Thanks,

Details like this are in the documentation.

So if not, it can be changed.
