I wonder if you can tell me what effect using #pragma DisableBackgroundTasks has on how Real handles MIDI input through MSB plugins on Mac.

I ask because I don't know whether the MIDI data coming into the callback is itself considered a background task or not. Does anyone know what is the criteria for what a background task is?

Thanks,
Aaron

If you use MidiClientMBS and related classes, well they do deliver events only in idle time.

So while RB code runs, it does not send something.
