there is a problem with Window.Keydown event under Cocoa (<feedback://showreport?report_id=22000>). Keydown of accent keys like ^´`are not working, which means you can't type characters like ñ á ô.
Today, Joe Ranieri now wrote this on the beta list:
" Unfortunately, NSTextInputClient can't be implemented in pure RB code.
You'd need to write a plugin that exposes an NSView that implements it
and calls through to events in RB. We did this to support input into
the IDE's code editor and it works out fairly well. "
Are you able to write such a plugin? Seems that many people need this, case was ranked #77.

Before I write just a control to fix this, I'd rather help Joe fixing the real issue.
